Jack
joined The Parisky Group as Director of Operations and Chief Information Officer
in 1997. His program responsibilities include managing the multi-agency Breaking the Cycle teen pregnancy prevention campaign, overseeing
the Hartford Action Plan on Infant Health’s Youth Initiatives and managing the
planning effort for a pilot fatherhood project under contract to CWEALF. He
successfully managed a research project on the Health Care Needs of Migrant
Workers for the Connecticut Department of Public Health. Formerly a private consultant, Jack is well known to
area organizations for his community service and expertise in strategic
planning, team building, change management and computer/Internet utilization.
He brings public sector experience as director of program management,
Intergovernmental Policy Division for the Connecticut Office of Policy and
Management, and a long and distinguished career at The Travelers Corporations.
While at The Travelers, Jack conceived and implemented major information
systems projects, and promoted corporate responsibility, workforce diversity,
and employee community involvement. A former Marine Corps staff sergeant, Jack holds an M.S. degree in Management & Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a B.S. from Charter Oak College, and has participated in the Aspen Institute’s Executive Seminar. Jack’s extensive community service currently includes board membership at the Charter Oak College Foundation and membership in the Allocations Committee of the United Way of the Capital Area. He has also been a community representative on local grant-making and media advisory committees. Jack is the former president of the board of directors of La Casa de Puerto Rico and treasurer of the board of the Hispanic Health Council and a member of the board of the Hartford Seminary, the Bushnell Park Foundation, and Community Health Systems. His chairmanship of the first Connecticut Latino redistricting committee earned a citation from the Connecticut General Assembly.
