Jean is a seasoned professional in non-profit management, board development and fund-raising.  She brings more than twenty years experience designing and managing programs for service and advocacy organizations, in housing, community development and human services.  

Prior to joining The Parisky Group in 1996, Jean was a private consultant, executive director of the Connecticut Interfaith Housing & Human Services Corporation and development and program director and later executive director of the Waterbury YWCA.  Jean created the YWCA’s annual giving program, completed and implemented a $1 million capital campaign, and directed social service and recreation programs, supervising 18 YWCA staff.  Previously, Jean worked for state and private programs in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. 

Her Parisky Group responsibilities have included management of the CT Assoc. of School Based Health Centers, research on Connecticut’s rural health needs, and a current project to define CT’s food security policies. Jean is a graduate of Tufts University and completed a Loeb Fellowship in Advanced Environmental Studies at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.  She is three-term member of the Watertown Town Council and serves as Finance Chair.  She is past president of the Watertown League of Women Voters and a former member of the Massachusetts Governor’s Commission on the Status of Women.
