Maureen serves as The Parisky Group’s in-house expert on health care issues. Her background includes private insurance, Medicaid reform and state and federal health care legislation. She manages the Health Finance Project, through which the Hartford Action Plan on Infant Health develops sources of long-term public financing for preventive services and education programs. Prior to joining The Parisky Group in 1995, Maureen served as a senior manager for both Aetna Health Plans and CIGNA Corporation. At Aetna, Maureen managed legislative and regulatory compliance, and also served as director for issues analysis in the Employee Benefits Division. Her nine years at CIGNA included positions in market research, legislative analysis and as assistant director of the Group Pension Division. Maureen holds an MBA from the University of Hartford and a BA in History from the University of Illinois. She is a past member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Pension Committee and National Association of Manufacturers Employee Benefits Committee. Her current volunteer work includes serving as a member of the Rocky Hill Board of Education and chairing its Finance Committee. |
